Discovering spiritual teachers in the most unlikely of places: Pilisa Rainbow Lady

Bring On The Woo is hosted by Veronica Irons, a professional psychic in Sedona, Arizona. Veronica has worked with thousands of individuals in her seven years as a healer, helping them become more aware of their own abilities and hidden talents, and revealing how those traits help shape their future.

Pilisa Rainbow Lady has had a journey similar to many on the spiritual path in that her gifts were very present during her childhood but suppressed or denied due to familial and/or societal pressure, with a familiar sentiment of ‘you’re crazy’ or that she was ‘delving into the work of the devil’ when she would ask about greater understanding in this realm. Having always known she was a spiritual being, yet denying it’s presence in her life due to her upbringing, it wasn’t until she delved into what later turned out to be a very successful business, that spiritual teachers via business coaches, came into her life. These individuals opened up the doors to practicing her intuitive gifts via shamanism.

This point in Pilisa‘s life was really instrumental completely changing the path of who she had been into who she has now become. The company that she was running was becoming very prominent in her field and while very technologically experienced she knew she needed help in running a business that was quickly becoming more than she or her partners could manage. Through coaching, and again opening up that spiritual path, the company was sold and she was able to retire at age 33. From here it then became important to continue her shamanistic practices and give back to the world through connection. While traveling the globe and being able to support foundations fiscally and physically, Pilisa also developed her talent for artistry with her glassworks which she still continues to this day.

Important takeaways from this conversation and dialogue with Pilisa, that I found to be helpful, is recognizing that like many people it’s OK if you were not always understood as a child and in your spiritual gifts or inclinations. Another important thing to remember is that it is always good to work within ourselves but get help when we find we need it. It is very important to have that recognition for her to reconcile that when she was struggling with her business, having a second set or multiple sets of eyes on a problem or sticking point can be a tremendous help in our  us growth. Of course the caviare is that we then move forward and put those systems in place and take action. Also, a big final emphasis was placed on her parting message that the spiritual path and faith can overlap very easily if we allow it. It is also good to be aware when our faith may be hindering us from progressing on that path because it was rooted in ancestral practices & we stick with it, afraid to potentially let it go if it is no longer serving.

Some of the magical take away from Pilisa‘s experience: are what it’s like when you listen to divine intuition and guidance to purchase anything, such as a piece of property, which was in her case. She didn’t have the financial resources, was guided to get it and was open yet realize she didn’t have the money to purchase it. Then of course, lo and behold, a week later having set the intention to buy the land and knew what she would use the money for if it came, so it did and the land was hers, which continues to be developed to this day. Or another great one to experience in life is the bending of time. Pilisa experienced getting from one place to another in what typically should’ve taken an hour and a half happened only in seeming minutes. Magic is woven in her experience for sure.
