Achieving understanding and self-awareness through ritualistic earth and seasonal devotion: Leigh Lucero

Bring On The Woo is hosted by Veronica Irons, a professional psychic in Sedona, Arizona. Veronica has worked with thousands of individuals in her seven years as a healer, helping them become more aware of their own abilities and hidden talents, and revealing how those traits help shape their future.

Sometimes our path unfolds in faith where we become the leaders in our family vs the follower.  Such is the case with Leigh Lucero‘s story that we are diving into today. She discovered her faith and her mother eventually followed. Unlike a lot of awakening stories, Leigh grew up in an environment that was fairly open yet without structure towards faith, so when she stumbled upon a book of Wicca practices, it just became very clear to her that this was her path as she said ‘It just made so much sense.’ As it was divinely meant to, she also happened to then quickly connect to a community of practicing witches in her area, that would eventually open up the doors for her mother to join in on the path of finding understanding and self-awareness through ritualistic earth and seasonal devotion.

From Wicca in childhood, Leigh eventually found her way to more indigenous practices and engaged in different native dances, like the sun/moon dance, that uses the body and ritual to help expand consciousness to overcome whatever it is that someone is encountering they are looking to heal or transition. Her experience with her native teacher would also eventually lead Leigh on a course to finding/expanding her faith by discovering the traditions found in India. Her story is a wondrous conglomeration of converging paths for her to really embody a diverse and beautiful and spiritual life

Now based in Sedona Arizona, after having lived on the East Coast in Virginia and Florida, Leigh and her business partner now have a physical location in the Village of Oak Creek, that comes with a beautiful story of divine intervention you will have to tune into. Here, she is not only is able to practice healing modalities, such as QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnotherapy developed by Dolores Cannon), as well as doing intuitive readings but Leigh is also a master jeweler and creates consciously designed jewelry and intention pieces.

Some of the weirdest things that she’s experienced have been:  1) finding in her travels that whatever or whenever she needed something, it would be there or 2) embarking on discoveries in a journey that was completely miss scheduled, ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time and date yet it turned out to be exactly where she needed to be. In that journey she was able to discover the beauty and healing energy of Chichen Itza in Mexico with an impromptu connection to a Mayan Priest.

The big takeaways to be aware of in Leigh’s story are 1) that finding community on your path is exceedingly important 2) Allowing the journey to unfold will bring forth strength and fortitude in your faith and practices, even if you start from one modality it and it changes with time into another and then maybe eventually morphs altogether and 3) knowing that when you surrender to the bigger picture/divine energy that what you need is brought to you without struggle. Such as a case of her and her business partner finding their store after having searched for months, only to have it delivered to them on an off chance conversation that has now changed the course of her life. Listen in to hear all about it!
